Beats & Urban Music Production is a program dedicated to teaching the production techniques unique to the Hip Hop and Urban Music genres.
"B.U.M.P." was designed in partnership with Chin Injeti, a Grammy-winning producer and songwriter for his work on Eminem's album "Recovery" (Best Rap Album 2011). Chin has worked on music for the likes of Drake, 50 Cent, David Banner, Clipse, and Esthero, and collaborated with some of hip hop's biggest producers such as DJ Khalil, 88 Keys, and Organized Noize.
As an accomplished musician and member of Juno Award Winning R&B group Base Is Bass, Chin has helped craft a diverse program that he believes will cultivate well-rounded and successful producers.
Students enrolling in B.U.M.P. will take 6 months to learn Sound Recording skills before moving on to spend 6 months in B.U.M.P.
Course begin in April of 2012, with intakes every 3 months (January, April, July and October).
