Applying to Nimbus can seem intimidating, but we've got an amazing Admissions team who are experts on guiding prospective students through the process. You'll definitely come up with questions and we'll be happy to answer them for you. Just follow the simple steps below and we'll get you going!

No technical knowledge is required, as we will teach you everything you need to know. Nimbus looks for students who love and live music, are creative and have a drive to succeed. Does that sound like you? If so, we would love to hear from you!
You must have a financial plan to cover your
tuition and living expenses while studying at Nimbus. (We'll help you with the planning so that you're able to dedicate your time to creating music!)
You must have graduated from high school (or equivalent), or be at least 19 years of age
Provide a valid piece of government photo identification.
Attend an interview with (in person or virtual) with an Admissions Advisor.
Provide the names and contact details of 2 references.
OPTIONAL: Students are encouraged to submit an essay and/or portfolio of their work that displays their commitment to the program.
For ARTIST DEVELOPMENT applicants - requires an interview & a successful vocal and/or instrumental audition to assess your general musicality and performance background.
Students must demonstrate English proficiency through a video interview or submit a record that indicates proficiency. Preferred method is Duo Lingo, (https://englishtest.duolingo.com) a timely testing method that works all around the world and has equivalencies for TOEFL. Minimum scores showing the following TOEFL 65 and IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent) will be accepted.
